Light as a language
I'm Domenico Gargarella, a professional portrait photographer based in Milan. For 30 years I have been telling the stories of people through light.
I specialise in boudoir and glamour photography, portraits, actor and model books. Every session is built together: it starts from you and your story, seen through my eyes.
My style is born from light. I don't use it just to illuminate, but to build: depth, character and emotion in every frame, the way the great painters did. It is what makes my photographs recognisable at a glance.
I know that stepping onto a photo set can feel intimidating, especially the first time. Before taking a single picture, my job is to build the trust you need to forget the camera. Only then is the result authentic, never forced.
